Are they both forms of generic Vicodin, just one a smaller dose? - the strongest vicodin

I have two pills. A 5 mg hydrocodone / paracetamol 500 Vicodin (ng generic). Other: 5 mg hydrocodone / acetaminophen 325 mg, but not this general Vicodin. Why not? Are not they basically the same, except for a small dose? There is mg of the difference, the only difference? And if you are a stronger Vicodin, what chemicals they need more?
